Star Gospel Mission shares 2026 plans and how they aim to help the Lowcountry’s homeless

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Star Gospel Mission joined “Good Morning Charleston” Wednesday to talk about their big goals for this year, which include breaking ground on new homes to help serve those experiencing homelessness in the community.

According to Rev. Dr. Marion Platt, executive director of Star Gospel Mission, homelessness is not the end of a persons story, but rather the end of a long and difficult chapter.
