North Charleston police arrest three after suspected hand-to-hand drug deal, report says

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Three people were arrested Wednesday on multiple drug charges after being caught in a hand-to-hand transaction, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Brandy Marie Farless, a 46-year-old from North Charleston, 46-year-old Antonio Mack Steward of North Charleston, and 62-year-old Martin W. Montjoy of Summerville were each charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl within proximity of a school or public park, and possession of cocaine.

The incident report states that at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers with the North Charleston Police Department were conducting proactive patrols along Ashley Phosphate Road due to reports of increased drug activity in the area.
