On Thursday, March 12, the North Charleston Police Department announced in a press release that they arrested 29-year-old Janaina Ferreira after eight children were found by themselves in an apartment in North Charleston, where a fire had started.
“At about 2:30 p.m., police officers and firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at Arbor Square Apartments,” officials said. “When emergency crews arrived, they discovered eight juveniles inside the apartment without adult supervision.”…
