CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to solve the case of a woman who disappeared 14 years ago today.
Marjorie “Gayle” McCaffrey, 36, was last seen at 2829 Limestone Boulevard on March 17, 2012.
Detectives say her husband, Robert McCaffrey, was reportedly arguing with her before he drove to the Upstate region while their two children slept.
He reported her missing the next day, saying he had returned and found a farewell letter that was later deemed a fabrication…
