North Charleston Police made a swift arrest Sunday evening (March 15, 2026) after spotting a vehicle with illegal window tint near Dorchester Road and South Allen Drive.

Incident Breakdown

Officers pulled over the car at a Cheapway gas station on Dorchester Road. They smelled marijuana from the four occupants, who exited the vehicle. A search revealed 5.1 grams of plant material testing positive for THC and fentanyl in one person’s pocket, plus a stolen Glock .22 handgun tucked in the 16-year-old driver’s waistband.
