CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Around 100 residents at the Oaks at Charleston senior living facility are scrambling to find a new place to live after just learning their center is closing on April 10, 2026.
The move is forcing residents, many of whom rely on daily professional care, to find a new and comfortable home. However, residents say more could have been done to ease the transition.
