The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Ronald Lee Bowers II, 37, of Wilhite Drive, following a pursuit on Tuesday, March 17. The chase began in Charleston County and continued into Berkeley County along Highway 78. Deputies used tire deflation devices and a Pursuit Intervention Technique to stop the vehicle safely. Bowers was taken into custody without further incident.
He faces multiple charges, including Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Failure to Stop for Blue Lights and Sirens second offense, Driving Under Suspension, Operating a Vehicle Uninsured, Reckless Driving, Operating a Vehicle with Expired Registration, and a Seatbelt Violation.
