Lowcountry attorney pleads guilty to stealing $1.5 million from clients

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — A Mount Pleasant personal injury attorney is out on bond after being accused of stealing over a million dollars from his law firm and clients.

William Christopher Swett appeared in U.S. District Court on Thursday to plead guilty to the accusations.
