NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston’s own Boeing 787 Dreamliner was named the ‘2026 Coolest Thing Made in South Carolina,’ the South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce association announced Tuesday.
A ‘Manufacturing Madness’ bracket was made and drew nearly 200,000 votes from around the world.
The 787 Dreamliner won over three other finalists:
- Constant Velocity Joint – JTEKT, Greenville
- PFX Flex Sub-Lite-Wall – Zeus, Orangeburg
- CardioEducator – NursEdvance Innovations, Richland
