4 teens face several charges in connection with North Charleston armed robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Four teens were arrested Sunday night after being accused of robbing three men at gunpoint and trying to rob nine others.

Two 13-year-olds, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old are all charged with three counts of armed robbery, nine counts of attempted armed robbery, four counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a firearm under 18, according to jail records.

North Charleston Police officers responded to a weapons call at the 2700 block of Oak Leaf Drive just after 7 p.m. Upon arrival, the victims said they were playing basketball when they were approached by four suspects who demanded their wallets. The suspects then reportedly pulled out guns, which caused the victims to hand over their belongings…
