JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Marine crews quickly rescued a disabled sailboat from an active shipping lane near the Charleston-area jetties over the weekend.
Officials with St. John’s Fire District said its marine team, alongside area partners, the Charleston Fire Department, and U.S. Coast Guard, responded to a sailboat in distress Saturday morning between the jetties.
