The Citadel mandates new cadet training after multiple CSM crimes

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Citadel has rolled out new mandatory training for all cadets after four former students were charged with sexual exploitation of children, requiring students to complete multiple modules focused on child sexual abuse materials and related warning signs.

The school’s commanding officer called students to a mandatory meeting on March 17th and assigned the new steps. Faculty said the situation is being taken seriously, and staff are asking students to speak up if they see anything.
