CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Many people gathered at Hampton Park on Easter Sunday for a sunrise service outside.
Parkside Church prides itself on inclusivity and togetherness, as many people came together for an afternoon of worship and celebration. Dozens of people sat out on picnic chairs and blankets to take in this service.
“It’s so important to be able to celebrate a day like this, but also be able to be as inclusive as possible,” Parkside Church reverend Colin Kerr said. “Sometimes it’s hard for folks to go into a church for the first time. So, it’s really easy to go to a park and have music, eat snacks and do egg hunts and celebrate together.”…
