Charleston County is encouraging residents to provide input on the proposed 2026 Transportation Sales Tax (TST) program before the online survey closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 10.
Since launching in September, the county’s public engagement effort has generated significant participation from residents across Charleston County offering feedback on roads, public transit, and greenbelt priorities.
“This has been an unprecedented outreach effort,” said Charleston County Council Chairman Joe Boykin. “We’ve received more than four times the level of input compared to previous efforts, which underscores how much our community cares about getting this right. With only a few days remaining, I encourage anyone who has not yet participated to take a moment to share their perspective. Every voice plays an important role in shaping a future program that reflects the needs and priorities of Charleston County.”…
