CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Families in the Charleston area who have lost loved ones to homicide came together Saturday for the annual Spring Fellowship Picnic, an event designed to offer a supportive space to connect, share, and find community with others facing similar loss.
Larry Green, a member of the Survivors of Homicide Support Group, said humor has long been part of his life. “Now you guys call them Chuck Taylors. They’re Converse, man,” Green said, adding, “I’ve always worn low quarters. Always.”
