PHOTOS: Falcon 9 launch seen from Charleston area early Tuesday morning

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – People across the Charleston area captured images of Tuesday morning’s SpaceX launch from Florida.

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launched 29 Starlink broadband satellites to low-Earth orbit from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, according to the agency.

People from Daniel Island to St. Stephen, Moncks Corner, James Island, and Folly Beach captured images of the early morning launch, which happened around 5:33 a.m.

A second launch of Starlink satellites is planned for Tuesday night from Vandenberg SFB in California. The launch window is 7-11 p.m.; however, that launch would not be seen from South Carolina…
