DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — Dorchester County is proposing road and intersection improvements along Central Avenue and Parsons Road and is asking residents to weigh in at a public meeting later this month.
The project would widen Central Avenue and Parsons Road between Orangeburg Road and West Richardson Avenue and upgrade intersections along the corridor. County officials say the changes are intended to reduce congestion, improve safety and better accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians.
