NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — New information has been released regarding the fire that damaged a home on Cambridge Avenue and Azalea Drive on Thursday evening.
According to the North Charleston Fire Department, crews were dispatched at approximately 6:30 p.m. for a reported structure fire taking place in North Charleston.
Upon arrival on scene the first unit reported heavy smoke in the area and a single-story residence with smoke and flames visible from the rear of the home. Firefighters attacked the fire from the interior of the home while additional crews worked to conduct a primary search of the home…
