JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – A busy roadway on James Island is set to see some improvements after residents pointed out several safety issues.
State and local leaders now have a solution as they plan to add a dedicated left-turn arrow with a U-turn capability to Maybank Highway. It comes as people noticed drivers were making dangerous U-turns after raised medians were installed.
