CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) β Choosing where to eat in Charleston can feel overwhelming, with more than 200 restaurants and bars on the Charleston peninsula alone, according to Explore Charleston. Now, a College of Charleston adjunct professor and his students are using artificial intelligence to help narrow the options.
The project started as a classroom challenge and has grown into a public-facing tool called Taste Signal, designed to rank restaurants across the Charleston area.
