Man faces drug charges after Mercedes-Benz pulled over in Iredell County

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Charlotte man is facing several drug charges after he was pulled over in a silver Mercedes-Benz, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 1:23 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, deputies stopped the vehicle near the Dollar General in the 2000 block of Charlotte Highway. During the traffic stop, deputies noticed that a registration plate in the back window was fake.

The driver, 30-year-old Trevor Austin Strawn, was also reportedly driving with a suspended license.
