NC banned him from appliance repair work. Now John Jackson faces new charges across Triad counties.

ARCHDALE, N.C. — A Charlotte-area repairman permanently barred from performing or advertising appliance repair work in North Carolina is now facing new fraud-related charges across four counties, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and court records.

John Clay Jackson, 42, was arrested May 20 in Archdale after the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said it received information regarding possible fraud involving repairs that were never completed.

According to the sheriff’s office, Jackson was served with seven outstanding warrants from Randolph, Surry, Rowan and Yadkin counties. Altogether, authorities said he faces seven counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and three counts of failing to work after being paid…
