(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The driver of a Charlotte-bound tour bus has been charged in connection with a deadly Interstate 95 crash in Virginia that killed five people and injured dozens of others.
According to the Stafford Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Virginia State Police obtained and served felony warrants against Jing Sheng Dong, 48, of Staten Island, New York, following the fatal May 29 crash in Stafford County.
Investigators said evidence gathered since Friday’s crash shows the southbound tour bus was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck one or more vehicles moving slowly through a work zone, triggering a chain-reaction crash involving at least eight vehicles…
