CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nearly 3,000 households have lost power in southeast Charlotte Tuesday night after another round of strong storm came through the area.
Duke Energy officials reported several groups of outages around 7:30 p.m. in the Oakhurst and Cotswold areas. They were caused by objects coming into contact with power lines.
Warm and humid days with scattered storms continue this week
The main swath of 2,600 outages is expected to be resorted by 10:30 p.m., and a smaller one along Randolph Road is expected to last until 11:45 p.m.
