TROUTMAN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A black bear spotted in a Troutman neighborhood over the Fourth of July weekend is part of a growing trend wildlife experts say residents across the Charlotte region are likely to see more often.
Garry Rogers lives in the most recent Barium Springs neighborhood, where that bear was seen.
“Never this close for sure. Very unusual,” Rogers said.
