MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — K-9 Sly is retiring after 6 1/2 years of service with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Tuesday, July 7, was his last day on the job. Over the years, Sly has earned a few nicknames, including “Ol’ Flop,” “Ol’ Sly Boy,” “Sly Man,” and “The goodest boy ever!”
