FORT MILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Carowinds’ signature roller coaster, Fury 325, remains closed after a routine maintenance inspection uncovered a foundation issue earlier this month.
The amusement park said the ride has been out of service since July 7 after inspectors identified the problem. A portion of the coaster near the affected area has been blocked off with temporary walls while crews work to address the issue.
