The Fort Mill School District has agreed to pay $200,000 to settle a claim brought by the family of a school crossing guard who was fatally struck while directing traffic more than two years ago.
Stanley Brucker was working at the entrance to Fort Mill Elementary School on Springfield Parkway on March 21, 2024, when he was hit by a vehicle while assisting with school traffic.
