Charlotte’s luxury housing market has reached another milestone after a private island estate on Lake Norman sold for a record-breaking $15.25 million, the highest home sale ever recorded in the Charlotte region.
The property, known as Regatta Island, is located in Cornelius and spans 3.04 acres with approximately 1,250 feet of Lake Norman shoreline. The estate sold for $15.25 million, surpassing the recent $15 million sale of the late Doug Lebda’s Quail Hollow mansion.
