Charlotte tow truck driver faces felony charges after towing car with passengers inside

MT. HOLLY, N.C. (WBTV) – A Charlotte tow truck driver is facing multiple criminal charges, including two counts of felonious restraint, after video shows him towing a vehicle while two women were still inside it.

David Satterfield was arrested by Mt. Holly police following the incident at a gas station on Tuckaseege Road. Joyce Bradley and her godmother, Shelby Graham, said they were leaving the station and preparing to pull onto the road when Satterfield struck their vehicle.

Satterfield has been the subject of numerous WBTV investigations for years.

What the video shows

The video shows Satterfield bumped the car, pushed it further into the road blocking traffic, then hooked and dragged it back toward the gas station. All of that happened while Bradley was inside the vehicle with her godmother…
