After winning in arbitration and again in court—plus getting an order requiring the HOA to pay more than $12,000 in attorney fees—the HOA still planned another appeal, according to the source post. It wasn’t the paint color—it was the window count
Loeffler’s windows are white, while her neighbors’ windows are beige. But both sides, according to the report, said the HOA planned to paint the windows, so color wasn’t the real dispute.
The conflict was about uniformity and the number of window panes: Loeffler installed four windows, while her neighbors had eight. The HOA wanted her unit to have eight as well so everything matched.
