CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Students at a Charlotte charter school will have to find new means of transportation Tuesday after the school’s bus service canceled its transportation services with the school.
Parents and families of Unity Classical Charter School in southwest Charlotte received a message from school leaders Sunday evening informing them that the school’s bus service provider, Infiniti Transportation, has decided to terminate its services to the school, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Prior to the announcement, the charter school, which serves Kindergarten through 8th-grade students, received numerous reports from parents about the company’s service, including significant delays, route issues, the bus-tracking system not working, and problems with the drivers’ performance…
