Connelly Springs, NC – August 30, 2026 — At approximately 4:40 p.m. today, South Mountains Fire Rescue (SMFR) was dispatched to a reported traumatic fall.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel evaluated the patient and determined that the injuries required a higher level of medical care. Due to the severity of the patient’s injuries and the need for rapid transport, MedCenter Air was requested to respond to the scene.
