A pedestrian died under unusual circumstances, when running out of gas on Interstate 85 turned into a roadside fistfight, according to investigators in North Carolina.
It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday between exits 68 and 70 in Rowan County, and the male was struck by a passing vehicle, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said in a Sept. 2 news release.
