More than 170 remain without power after East Independence crash, officials say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A car crashed into a power pole Sunday, leaving hundreds without power in southeast Charlotte, officials said.

Duke Energy identified the outage around 1 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.
