MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two Union County residents are being held on no bond after being suspected of attempted murder last month, among other charges.
According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Atrium Health Union on Aug. 22 in reference to a reported gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they located a male victim who had sustained a single gunshot wound, resulting in entry and exit wounds to both biceps.
Detectives determined that Jose Ibarra and Bobbie McRae allegedly conspired to lure the victim, a 27-year-old, to Ibarra’s Waxhaw residence due to a prior history between the individuals.
