New reward offered for information in 2020 Charlotte deadly block party shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Governor Josh Stein is offering a reward for any information that could help finally give justice to the families of four people who were killed during a mass shooting at a block party in north Charlotte.

Police said at least 181 rounds were fired during a block party along Beatties Ford Road and Catherine Simmons Avenue around 12:30 a.m. on June 22, 2020. Nine people were struck by gunfire, killing three.
