‘Bob & Sheri’ To End Radio Run

Three decades after helping pioneer syndicated women-led mornings, Bob & Sheri is walking away from terrestrial radio. NOW! Media has notified its affiliates that the show will end traditional distribution on December 31, continuing as a “direct-to-consumer” brand.

The show launched in 1992 on Charlotte’s WBT-FM as “Sunny 107.9” and entered national syndication in 1996, a 30-year run in the format. Bob & Sheri was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025, joining honorees including Alice Cooper, Colin Cowherd, and DeDe McGuire. Co-host Bob Lacey retired from the program in January 2025; Sheri Lynch has continued fronting the show since.

Lynch noted, “We have been closely following the data from Edison Research, Tom Webster at Sounds Profitable, as well as the research projects we’ve commissioned with Fred and Paul Jacobs, and determined this is the right time to become a direct-to-consumer brand.”…
