Warrant alleges suspect intentionally set neighbors apartment on fire while she was inside

Court documents revealed the name of the man who police think intentionally set his neighbor’s apartment on fire.

Lovett Henderson was arrested just after midnight on Saturday morning, less than twenty minutes after the Charlotte Fire Department responded to an apartment fire on Magnolia Hill Drive.

According to an arrest warrant issued for Henderson, he’s accused of intentionally setting the apartment next to his on fire while his neighbor was inside.

Public records show Hendersons’ address is one unit next to the targeted unit listed in the warrant.

Henderson is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning. He’s facing charges of First Degree Arson, Assault on a Female, and Misdemeanor Larceny.
