A protest is planned for Uptown Charlotte today and CMPD is warning employees at Bank of America to be aware and to avoid confrontation. The group 350 Charlotte has joined with Appalachians Against Pipelines (AAP) to organize today’s the protest in Uptown Charlotte where they plan on marching around Bank of America and Wells Fargo buildings chanting: “Stop MVP!” “MVP: Wrong Then, Now, Forever!” “No Personal Savings to Climate Destruction!”, according to their website.
