CHARLOTTE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say there was a fatal northwest Charlotte shooting Sunday night.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit detectives went to the 3500 block of Odum Avenue shortly after 11:30 p.m. There, they found a victim with a gunshot wound.
Medic pronounced the victim deceased on the scene, and CMPD is not looking for any other suspects at this time.
Representatives from CMPD’s Operations Command, Victim Services, Charlotte Fire, and Medic also assisted.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
