Avelo Airlines adds cheap nonstop flights to the northeast from Concord airport

CONCORD, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — How does $62 sound for a non-stop flight from the Queen City to southern New England? If it sounds enticing, you’re in luck. An ultra-low-cost airline just announced service from Concord to New Haven.

“It’s time to say Hello to Avelo ”, announced airline spokesperson Trevor Yealy Tuesday, launching the first and only airline offering exclusive non-stop service between the Queen City and southern Connecticut.

The service is between Concord-Padgett Regional and Tweed-New Haven Airport.

Officials advertise Avelo as America’s most convenient airline, utilizing small hometown easy-to-use airports like Concord.

Avelo has flown more than 4 million customers on over 30,000 flights since 2012.

Since taking off in 2021, Avelo has flown more than 4 million customers on over 30,000 flights. The airline flies Boeing next next-generation 737 jets, serving 47 destinations in 23 states and Puerto Rico.

The airline now adds Concord Regional to its list, joining Allegiant Airlines which has offered budget flights to Florida for over a decade. The airport just celebrated its 10-year anniversary of commercial airline service.
