CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A juvenile student has been charged after assaulting a teacher at Myers Park High School, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
The assault happened on Thursday, Feb. 8, and CMS said a student allegedly assaulted a teacher. Law enforcement officers were called to the school to ensure the safety of students and staff.

“This behavior is disruptive to learning and a violation of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Code of Student Conduct,” CMS said in a written statement. “The student involved will be disciplined accordingly. The safety of our students and staff remains a top priority.”
CMPD said the student involved has been taken into custody.
