21-year-old Brenna Lamount Harris, Jr. of Charlotte was charged Monday, February 12th by Burke County Sheriff’s Deputies with felony possession of a weapon by a prisoner. Harris is serving a minimum 40 month prison sentence and is an inmate at the Foothills Correctional Center. He was convicted in 2021 in Mecklenburg County for felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. Harris, following the charges was transferred to the the Burke County Jail. He remained in jail as of earlier today.
