Rock Hill man arrested with no bond in Lancaster County for drug trafficking: Sheriff

LANCASTER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Rock Hill man is being held without bond after being arrested Wednesday for allegedly trafficking several controlled substances, including crack cocaine.

According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Keewon David Degraffenreid, was wanted by Chester County authorities, and deputies assisted in the search. The afternoon of Feb. 14, they went to a residence at 3911 Old Camden Hwy., near Heath Springs, where deputies reportedly saw Degraffenreid leaning into a door of a white 2019 GMC Acadia in the yard.

Deputies say Degraffenreid left the car door open and went inside before deputies got into the yard. They allegedly smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car and observed what was believed to be illegal drugs in plain view inside the front of the car.

Degraffenreid came out of the house and was detained. Deputies say they obtained $1,715 cash that was on him.

Deputies searched the car and found 128.6 grams of suspected cocaine, 14.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine, pills weighing 53.5 grams suspected to be oxycodone hydrochloride, and 13.6 grams of suspected marijuana.
