Jasmine Grill , a Mediterranean restaurant currently operating as a food truck, is getting ready to land in its new home in Pineville , located at 10601 Centrum Pkwy .
The restaurant previously lived in Rock Hill at 2476 Cherry Road, but after an ownership change at the business plaza last fall, owner Feras Jaber decided to move out. Since then, he’s been serving Rock Hill through a food truck in a parking lot at 275 S. Charlotte Ave. Now, he’s getting ready to cross state lines and open a brick-and-mortar in the current home of Captain D’s in Pineville, according to The Post and Courier .
The new location, about 15 miles north of the previous site, is expected to open in Spring 2024 . When it does, customers can expect a variety of delicious Mediterranean cuisine, featuring beef kebab, chicken shawarma, shrimp with garlic sauce, and more. The casual dining eatery has halal and vegetarian options. Considering the restaurant is taking over Captain D’s, the new location will also feature a drive-thru, like the original site, west of I-77 on Cherry Road.
