HOUSTON, TX (AP) — Charlotte FC lost against Houston Dynamo, the team’s first loss after a short-lived winning streak.
Patrick Agyemang led Charlotte FC into the match after scoring two goals against the Philadelphia Union.
Houston’s Ibrahim Aliyu came out strong, scoring the first and only point in the match within the first half with an assist by Sebastián Ferreira.
Dynamo (8-6-6) ranks 5th in Western Conference.
Charlotte (9-5-6) ranks 6th in Eastern Conference
The next match against Inter Miami CF is at home at Bank of America Stadium on July 3 starting at 7:30 p.m.
