Charlotte man dies after being pulled from Myrtle Beach pool, authorities say

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A Charlotte man died late Saturday night after being pulled from a pool along Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, authorities said.

Grace Mendonda, 37, was removed from the water at 1701 S. Ocean Blvd. and died just after 11:30 p.m. at South Strand Medical Center, Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating. No further information was immediately available.
