CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Jason Harper is getting ready to row for cancer and is talking to the organizers of the 24,000-meter row for Michelle’s Mighty Mission.
Joe Vogelbacher is the co-founder of Sugar Creek Brewing, and he started this event five years ago while his sister, Michelle, was still fighting cancer. Although she lost her battle with the disease, her legacy continues through this event.
Teams of two or four come together to compete for prizes and enjoy fellowship while remembering those who are still fighting for a cure.
Spencer Lueders is the founder of the 24 Foundation and they are partnering with CrossFit Mecklenburg to host this event on September 14.
