Judge denies dismissal for James Dunmore in Allisha Watts’ death case

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.C. – A motion requesting a dismissal in the case of Allisha Watts’ death was denied on Monday. James Dunmore appeared in court on Monday where a Montgomery County judge denied his motion for dismissal. The judge said the state did violate Dunmore’s constitutional rights by wrongly obtaining medical records, according to WRAL. However, this was not enough to throw out the murder charge.
